The purpose of Innovations Medspa is to provide our patients with the best treatments available for skin care, body shaping, and other cosmetic procedures. We are often the first practice in the nation to offer new technological advances in body shaping and skin rejuvenation, including most recently the SmartLipo MPX, Thermage 16.0, and SmartXide DOT Therapy. Our Chief of Staff, Dr. Bill Johnson, has been serving patients in the North Texas area since 1984. His experience with many of our technologies dates from their clinical trials, and he is considered a national expert on many of the procedures we offer. This position of national leadership allows us to provide services to our patients that simply are not available anywhere else.

Innovations MedSpa introduces the new Thermage 16cm2
Dallas, TX — November 5, 2008 — Starting on November 5, Innovations MedSpa will begin using the new Thermage 16cm2 tip. This new tip increases patient comfort and allows Dr. Bill Johnson to treat larger areas in less time than with previously available Thermage treatments. Dr. Johnson’s participation in clinical trials has helped to develop this new treatment, and now allows Innovations MedSpa to offer this new technology three months before its release to the national market in late January of 2009.

Dr. Bill Johnson, MD, MMM

Dr. Bill Johnson was born in Dallas, Texas, and graduated with honors from Texas Tech University with a pre-med degree. Dr. Johnson received his doctorate from Texas Tech University in 1981 and completed his internal medicine residency at Tech in 1984. From 1984 until 2000, Dr. Johnson practiced as a partner at Lubbock Diagnostic Clinic, serving many of those years as president of the group. Dr. Johnson opened his first practice in Grapevine in January of 2002. In 2005, Dr. Johnson added aesthetic medicine to his practice. In 2006, Dr. Johnson’s Grapevine practice was renamed Innovations MedSpa, which has since expanded to include offices in Dallas and Fort Worth. Dr. Johnson is a regular contributor to "Good Morning Texas," the leading morning show in the DFW area. Since the creation of Innovations MedSpa, Dr. Johnson has introduced many innovations to his patients.
