Why do I need a physical?
Ideally, a patient will walk away from a physical with peace of mind, knowing that their health is optimal. However, if early symptoms of a major health problem show up, your physician can prescribe a plan to mitigate or completely eliminate the problem. For instance, those with high cholesterol can take steps to bring it back into the normal range before the condition leads to a heart attack. This knowledge can literally be a lifesaver.
